Modélisation et simulation numérique de la combustion
Guillaume Ribert activities at INSA & CORIA are mainly focused on the numerical simulation of laminar and turbulent flames as well as flows under supercritical conditions. Reynolds Average Navier Stokes (RANS), Large Eddy Simulation (LES) and Direct Numerical Simulation (DNS) are used to provide a better understanding of physics phenomena in order to develop and validate models. A second activity on compressible flows and shock waves simulation is also addressed.
Both fundamental studies and direct applications are considered and the target of those studies are mainly aeronautical engines and rockets.
